INTRODUCTION

Industrial Training Institute Pasir Gudang is supervised by The Manpower Department, Ministry of Human Resources. The Institute is situated in Pasir Gudang Industrial Area which is the largest and also at the moment is developing rapidly in the state of Johor. The location of the institute is 
approximately 35 km from Johor Bahru City.

The Institute was commenced on 15 September 1982 and the output of the skill trained trainees were more than 5000 trainees in various departments such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering and Civil Engineering.

ORGANIZATION

The Institute is headed by a principal. There are 3 departments namely Mechanical & Production Department, Electrical and Electronic Department, and supported by Administration and Finance Division. The operation of the Institute are managed by the technical staff consists of 98 instructors and 18 administration staff.

The Instructors were professionally trained and qualified with Degree, Diploma, Advanced Skilled Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic Engineering. They have a wide range of knowledge in the latest technological development in industry . Beside that, The Manpower Department provides skill upgrading training for the instructors in local institutes and also sending them abroad alternatively.
